The First GoI's CSC tender under NeGP won by eGovServices
The Government of Jharkhand has awarded Tender for 2,943 CSC's to eGovServices. The CSC's will be deployed in rural Jharkhand and provide urban services to rural areas. The Government of Jharkhand identifed eGovServices as one of the few technical competent organizations globally to execute the project.
eGovServices MOU with Microsoft to roll out 500 IT enabled Saksham Centers
eGovServices and Microsoft have joined hands to realize the vision of the President of India, Shri A P J Abdul Kalam, to Provide Urban Services to Rural Areas (PURA).
The initiative includes innovative financial and business models that are relevant for rural India and is aimed to also provide employment to the unemployed educated rural citizens.

Prof. M. P. Gupta

Prof. Gupta focus areas have been IS/ IT planning, Business Intelligence, e-Business and e-Governance. He has authored the acclaimed book “Government Online”, and edited two others titled “Towards E-Government” and “The Promise of E-Governance”. Prof. Gupta supervised the development of the e-governance portal “Gram Prabhat” which won the IBM Great Mind Challenge Award for the year 2003.

Noni Chawla
Director-Business Strategy
Nripjit Singh (Noni) Chawla completed his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in 1970. For 32 years Noni worked in the corporate sector. He spent more than 20 years in ITC Limited (one of India's largest companies and the Indian associate of BAT Industries), in its hotel business and the International Business Division. He was actively involved in and co-steered ITC's diversification into several new businesses. He was the founder CEO of Max Healthcare, a premier private sector healthcare company in India, which set new standards of service in that business. He has been the country manager for Korn/Ferry International.
